A confident professional photographed during a personal branding session, showing expertise and authenticity.

Personal Branding Photographer for Professionals

For founders, consultants, coaches, and senior professionals who need more than a single headshot. I'll build you a library of 25 to 50+ images that show who you are and what you do, so you have months of content ready for your website, LinkedIn, social media, and marketing.

Before the session, I'll have a proper planning call with you. We map out exactly where you use images and build the shoot around those needs. I come to you with professional lighting, coach you through the whole session, and make sure every image earns its place.

Based in Exeter and the South West, I also work regularly in London and other UK cities.

What Your Personal Brand Image Library Covers

A planned session produces a library of images that works across every channel where your name appears. Here's what a typical library looks like.

Portrait Images

Strong, clean portraits for your LinkedIn profile, website About page, speaking bio, press enquiries, and email signature. These are the images that travel on your behalf when you're not in the room.

In-Context Shots

Images of you working, thinking, or in conversation. These suit LinkedIn posts, service pages, and pitch decks because they show expertise in action rather than just a face against a wall.

Environmental and Lifestyle Shots

Images in spaces that reflect what you do: your workspace, a co-working environment, outdoors. These give your content visual variety and make your brand feel human rather than corporate.

Social Content Images

Horizontal, vertical, and square crops. Detail shots of hands, notebooks, or environment. Images designed to work on Instagram, LinkedIn carousels, newsletters, and anywhere else you publish regularly.

Everything is planned before the session, not worked out on the day. During our call we'll map out where you actually use images, how often you publish, and which platforms matter most for your business. Then we build the shoot around that. If you're wondering how far a well-planned library can stretch, my post on 66 ways professionals use their personal branding photos gives a good sense of the scope.

Who I Work With

Most of my personal branding clients have one thing in common: their face is their business. Here's who typically books a session.

Founders and Business Owners

Launching or growing a business where you are the brand. You need a consistent visual presence across your website, LinkedIn, and sales materials, and you need it to look deliberate rather than cobbled together.

Consultants and Coaches

Building a reputation through visibility. Your potential clients are researching you before they've ever spoken to you, and the images on your website and LinkedIn are doing a lot of the persuading.

Executives Going Independent

Moving from employment to portfolio career, NED work, or advisory roles. You need photography that reflects seniority and credibility without looking corporate in the wrong way.

Professionals Building a Content Programme

You're posting regularly and you've exhausted your existing photo library. A planned branding session gives you six to twelve months of varied, fresh images so you're not recycling the same three shots.

Recent Personal Branding Sessions

Every session is different. Here are two recent clients and what we created together. Read more client stories.

How a Personal Branding Session Works

1

We Plan Together

I'll ask about your business, your audience, and where you'll use the images. We'll map out the locations, outfits, and the specific shots your content programme needs. The planning call is what makes the difference between a good-looking session and one that actually fills your content calendar.

2

I Come to You

I set up on location wherever suits your brand: your office, a co-working space, or outdoors. Full professional lighting travels with me. You don't need to find a studio or travel anywhere. I'll guide you through every shot so you know exactly what to do.

3

Your Library, Ready to Use

Every image is professionally retouched and delivered in multiple formats: high resolution for print, web-ready, and cropped for each platform. Full usage rights, no restrictions. You'll have months of fresh, varied content from a single session.

Every branding session includes your professional headshots. If you want to see what the results can look like before booking, the thinking behind how I approach authenticity in business photography gives a good sense of my approach.

What My Clients Say

Karen Woods

Business Owner, Bristol

★★★★★

I chose the branding package for my new business. Peter was professional, relaxed and efficient during the shoot, he was very accommodating to some specific requests I had, and is obviously very experienced. I was impressed with Peter's light set up for the headshot, which I'm so pleased with, and the time he took to get that 'standout shot'. The package was excellent value for money.

Fran Wilson

Repeat Client, Somerset

★★★★★

He has listened to everything I've said, been very professional, and has gone above and beyond to give me photos that really stand out. His work is so unique and very creative. I'm already super excited to be working with him soon on my next photoshoot. I've no reason to find anyone else.

Common Questions About Personal Branding Photography

How is a personal branding session different from a headshot session?

A headshot gives you one strong professional portrait. A personal branding session gives you a full library of images across different settings, outfits, and scenarios. You'll have months of content for your website, LinkedIn, social media, and marketing. Your headshots are included as part of the package.

What kinds of images does a personal branding session produce?

Most sessions produce strong portrait images for your profile and bio, in-context shots showing you working or thinking, environmental shots in a space that reflects what you do, lifestyle images that show personality, and detail shots for visual variety. During our planning call we'll map out what you actually need and build the shoot around that. My post on 66 ways to use your personal branding photos gives a full picture of how far the images can stretch.

Where does the session take place?

Everything happens on location. During our planning call we'll pick the settings that work for your brand, and I'll bring professional lighting to each one. No need to visit a studio.

How long does a branding session take?

The Professional Story package runs for 3 hours across two locations. The Complete Visual Identity package is a full day (6+ hours) across three locations. Both include time for outfit changes, different setups, and reviewing images as we go.

What's included in the price?

Everything: planning consultation, on-location session with full studio setup, expression coaching, professional retouching, and your images delivered in multiple formats. The price I quote is the price you pay.

Which locations in the South West do you cover?

I'm based in Exeter and photograph regularly across Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Bath, Plymouth, Cornwall, Dorset, and Gloucestershire. I also work in London and travel to other UK cities. See the full list of areas I cover. Just let me know where you are when you get in touch.

What if I'm not comfortable in front of a camera?

Almost everyone says that. The coaching side of the session is designed to get past that feeling early on. I talk you through everything, and most people are visibly more relaxed within the first ten minutes. My guide for camera-shy professionals explains exactly how I'll work with you to build your confidence.

Ready to Build Your Image Library?
